Inspired by the tortoise’s faceted shell, this magnificently proportioned bowl is a tour de force of glassmaking artistry. Hand-formed at the fire, a pinched hemisphere of solid crystal is slowly cooled, then meticulously cut and ground by Steuben’s master craftspeople to attain its poetic shape and glowing finish.
